Faith-Based Homeschool Co-Op

Where Faith, Friendship, and Learning Blossom! 🌸

Starting December 4, 2026

At Citrus Blossom Behavior, we are excited to introduce our Christian-based Homeschool Co-Op! Our program provides a welcoming, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Children will have opportunities to build foundational academic skills while learning Christian values such as kindness, patience, and compassion through age-appropriate bible stories, hands-on learning, creative activities, and peer interactions.

Whether your child is homeschooled or currently receiving ABA therapy, our co-op offers a wonderful opportunity to develop independence, build friendships, and prepare for future classroom experiences.

What does a typical co-op day look like?

Our daily schedule provides a balance of structured learning, movement, creativity, and social opportunities. Activities and their order may vary based on the needs of our learners.

  • Circle Time: Greetings, calendar activities, interactive stories, music, and movement songs.

  • Bible Story, Lesson & Craft: Age-appropriate Bible stories, Christian lessons, and creative crafts that reinforce faith-based values.

  • Early Spanish Language Skills: Introduction to basic Spanish vocabulary through interactive songs, games, and activities focusing on greetings, colors, numbers, animals, and everyday words to encourage early bilingual language development.

  • Snack & Social Time: Opportunities to practice conversation, sharing, requesting, and building friendships.

  • Early Literacy & Writing: Letter recognition, tracing, pre-writing activities, reading, and foundational literacy skills.

  • Movement Break: Dancing, stretching, and movement activities to support attention and engagement.

  • Math & Hands-On Learning: Counting, sorting, identifying shapes, number recognition, and interactive math games

How does our co-op benefit children receiving ABA therapy?

Our homeschool co-op provides a valuable opportunity for children receiving ABA services to practice and generalize skills in a natural, small-group learning environment. While individualized ABA therapy often focuses on building foundational skills, our co-op creates opportunities for children to apply those skills alongside peers during everyday activities.

Depending on each child's individualized goals, our co-op environment may provide opportunities to work on:

Social Skills

Initiating peer interactions, sharing, taking turns, cooperative play, and developing friendships.

Communication

Requesting assistance, answering questions, participating in conversations, and communicating wants and needs.

Group Learning

Following group instructions, attending to lessons, participating in circle time, and transitioning between activities

School Readiness

Completing classroom activities, following routines, working independently, and responding to teacher instructions.

Emotional Regulation

Developing coping strategies, tolerating changes in routines, waiting appropriately, and practicing flexibility.

Independence & Daily Living

Cleaning up materials, managing belongings, handwashing, and participating in routines.

Co-op enrollment and ABA therapy are separate services. Our homeschool co-op provides children with opportunities for faith-based learning, academic development, social interaction, and classroom readiness in a supportive small-group environment. Children do not need to receive ABA therapy to participate in our co-op.

For children who are also enrolled in ABA therapy, the co-op may provide valuable opportunities to practice and generalize skills such as communication, peer interaction, following group instructions, transitioning between activities, and independence. When clinically appropriate, ABA services may be provided alongside co-op activities in accordance with each child's individualized treatment plan, medical necessity, and insurance authorization.

Please note: Co-op enrollment fees are separate from ABA therapy services and are not billed to health insurance. Participation in our co-op does not automatically include ABA therapy, and insurance coverage for ABA services is subject to individual eligibility, medical necessity, and payer requirements.

Our goal is to provide families with flexible opportunities for their children to grow academically, socially, and spiritually while ensuring that all therapeutic services remain individualized and clinically appropriate.
